Electrotherapy is the use of electrical energy as a medical treatment to promote healing, relieve pain, reduce inflammation, improve circulation, stimulate muscles and nerves, and facilitate tissue repair. It involves the application of different forms of electrical currents through specialized devices and electrodes placed on the patient's skin or tissues.

This course prepares the students to understand the forces, kinetic, kinematic, biomechanical in normal movement. They further understand and integrate the biomechanical forces and its impact on bone, joints, muscles and ligaments in the daily activities.
